Through the work of the IC, NAAEE responds to the needs of the environmental education profession globally as well as locally. A major goal of the IC is to serve as a networking arm of NAAEE, to provide a platform for sharing and exchange of experiences, and acts as a resource for environmental educators worldwide working with environmental issues.
This commission operates under the direction of the International Commission Charter. For more information about NAAEE Commissions please see the NAAEE website There are three Advisory Committees within the International Commission and membership to these committees is encouraged as this is where the "work" of the commission takes place. Additionally, the IC supports NAAEE by providing leadership on the many committees through IC Representation. Please cntact the IC leaders if you are interested in taking on a leadership role in the IC.
